Norris Lodge

This lodge, constructed south of the Boy's Barn, was built in memory of Norman L. Norris. The money was donated by his family after his passing.[1] His daughter is former Girl's Camp Director Jane Norris, who married Halbe Brown.[2] It was designed to serve as a program planning headquarters and staff lodge[1] and was probably completed in the late 1950s.[3] It has since been used as staff housing before being returned to a Staff Lodge in 2012.

Norman L. Norris married Harriet Elizabeth Applegate Guy in 1930. They moved to Poland, OH in 1940, and Norman passed away on August 31, 1954. He left behind two daughters Jane Brown and Josephine Mellinger.[4]
